ABOUT KELLY

I’m Kelly and I’m a Chartered Physiotherapist.  I’m registered with The Health and Care Professions Council so you’re in safe hands. I have gained experience from my training in the NHS, working extensively in private practice and through my work with a variety of sports teams over the years. I am incredibly passionate about physiotherapy and how it can help you live well which is where the inspiration came from behind my business name “Wellness Therapeutics”.

I’m also a Yoga and Meditation Teacher. I’ve been practising both for well over 20 years and spent time in Thailand on a Yoga Teacher training retreat. Coupled with my university education in both Sport Therapy (BSc)  and Physiotherapy (MSc), I’ve a wealth of knowledge and experience to impart.

Although I take a very holistic view of your health and wellbeing, all the treatment options I use are evidence-based. This means that not only do you get a bespoke service, but most importantly you get the best possible outcome from your time with me.

I have a clinic in Stocksfield, which is situated in a converted barn just a few miles west of Newcastle and east of Hexham. I’m the team physiotherapist for Prudhoe and Stocksfield RFC where I volunteer my time to look after the lads both on and off the pitch.

I’ve been helping patients to help themselves for many years now and due to my previous love of extreme sports I’ve had my fair share of physiotherapy, which has given me an even greater empathy for those I treat. I absolutely love what I do and feel that this comes through in my work. If you’re considering physiotherapy and would like to know more, then please fill out our contact form below or call me and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have.

I’m also supported by Fiona Watson, a senior Physiotherapist specialising in orthopaedic trauma and sporting injuries in both adults and children. Fiona works here on Thursdays and like me, you can book in with her via calling 07947444179, emailing kelly@wellnesstherapeutics.co.uk or using our contact form.

Lastly, to all our valued patients thank you for choosing me as your physio, it is very much appreciated by me, my sapling and my humongous dogs and crazy cat – and to those considering choosing me, please get in touch with any queries.

Yours in good health, Kelly.
